Ability to email folios to guests
A clickable button should be added to the guest folio for the folio to be emailed to the guest. Right now the pdf file has to be saved and then emailed using another email program.

I have had quite a few upset guests that think it is ridiculous that we cannot email guest folios. We need this function!

Would really appreciate this function! Currently I have to print folio, scan it, attach it then email it.

Until they add this function, Here is easiest way to E-mail Folio
1) Save folio when it's generated In PDF & attach with E-mail.

Definitely a hassle to save their folio, then attach to email.

Just imagine the ink and paper saved if we could email folios as opposed to re-printing and mailing or faxing, or even going thru the hassel of scanning and then emailing.

Completely agree - especially because Profit Manager has this functionality. Guests familiar with the Choice family are aware that many hotels can do it. I feel terrible when I have to tell them that I cannot.

In addition to the ability to email customers their folios, I personally would love to see additional functions such as the ability to easily email repeat customers their billing and stay histories along with any future reservation information. Another addition that could be useful would be the ability to include headers and footers with the auto emails (such as individual property contact information and basic directions to the property, along with seasonal messages - e.g., holiday and/or area event messages as well as limited property packages and rates). Really, the biggest issue would be getting the database to interact with the individual property's email client as a mail server its own, but that isn't very difficult to work with. I think the original suggestion would be class act enough, though, and I love the idea.
